It can be a real bother when your technology is not working right. Sometimes it might freeze, or maybe it won’t go to the websites you are hoping for. This post will hopefully help you troubleshoot your problems and fix tech that has gone bad.

Most Common Way to Fix Your Tech

No matter what technology you have, this fix can be the best to perform first and foremost. It works wonders on cell phones, computers, gaming consoles, televisions, etc. You must turn off the technology, wait for a little bit, and then turn it back on. See if that fixes it. Sometimes it is hard to restart the tech especially if it is frozen. So you will have to do a hard reset where you hold down the power button and wait until it powers off. This is the most common thing to try first because somehow it fixes so many issues. Tech just needs a break sometimes.

Fixing Internet Issues

There are a variety of things that can go wrong with the internet. Does it run super slow? Are you having a hard time connecting to it? Is it having a hard time logging into certain websites? Well, there may be simple fixes to try before calling for a repair company.

First fix to try is clearing the cache. Cache holds onto information that you use often so you can access it quicker when going back to it. Sometimes it can be so full that it causes more issues than it should. So a simple clearing of the cache can help it run more smoothly.

Another thing to clear are the cookies. Cookies are used to basically stock you. It remembers the websites you visit, the things you search more for, etc. and then it can target you better with ads and such. If you clear these, it may help your computer run better.

If your internet is having connection problems, try restarting your router. This can be done by unplugging it, waiting a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. Let it restart all the way and then try logging into the internet again. If it is still not working, you might want to call your service provider because it might not be on your end that it isn’t working.

Now, if the internet is running slow like it is not downloading movies or keeps buffering, I would suggest running a speed test. There are several websites that you can use that will do the trick. See if you are getting the correct speeds you are paying for. If it is not working the right way, then try the router restarting as previously explained or call your service provider and they should fix it free of charge.
