Christmas happens every year, and the weather makes us aware of it. While some experience the harmattan, others experience the winter, but people in those different weather have quite a similar experience during Christmas. These include gift sharing, putting up Christmas gifts and decorations, having a family gathering. Ultimately, watching some highly recognized Christmas movies. These types of movies have been part of Christmas, and most people do watch them regularly. However, it’s easy to forget the titles of some of these movies while having some residual memory of the plots from IMDb. Don’t worry, this post will reignite some of them. 1. Love Actually
The love lives of eight very different couples are followed in this 2003 film. This is largely based on one another and is set in London, England, during the hectic month before Christmas. 2. Bad Santa
In order to rob department stores on Christmas Eve, an unhappy convicted conman (Willie T. Stokes) and his accomplice dress as Santa and his Little Helper. Willie only works one day a year in Santa Claus attire and the rest of the time is a drunk. But on Christmas Eve, he and his diminutive sidekick Marcus plan sophisticated robberies and plunder their department stores. This time, Willie is sidetracked by big women, a bartender who likes Santas, and a young child who believes he is the genuine deal. Marcus, however, has to put up with Willie’s excessive drinking once more, and things get awkward when the con artist befriends a troubled child.
3. The Santa Claus
On Christmas Eve, a man accidentally causes Santa to fall from his roof, and he ends up being magically chosen to replace him. Scott Calvin is horrified to discover that his ex-wife Laura and her spouse Neil had attempted and failed to explain the existence of Santa Claus to their 6-year-old kid Charlie. Before being hauled to the North Pole and told by a bunch who say they are elves that he is now Santa, Scoot meets an unexpected visitor on his roof who forces him to around the town distributing gifts through chimneys. Then his hair goes white, his beard won’t remain shaven, and he mysteriously puts on weight.
4. Home Alone
Even without its holiday-themed plot, this is very much the most well-known movie starring children. Popular character Kevin is an eight-year-old troublemaker who, after being erroneously left home alone, has to protect his house on Christmas Eve from two robbers. Kevin enjoyed having a pizza to himself and making a mess while he was home alone. Then Kevin learns that two burglars named Harry and Marv are planning to break into his home on Christmas Eve. Kevin takes fast action to deter the robbers by wiring his home with homemade booby traps.
5. A Christmas story
Ralphie Parker, a little kid, makes an effort to persuade his parents, his teacher, and Santa Claus in the 1940s that a Red Ryder Range 200 Shot BB rifle is the ideal gift. His mother opposed it, so he chooses the ideal theme for his teacher, but she has the same opinion as his mother. He has daydreams about being Red Ryder and catching the evil people. When the big day comes, he receives many gifts, including one from his aunt whom his mother absolutely enjoys. If he also received the large gun, however, he will be extremely unhappy.
6. Charlie Brown Christmas
A 1965 animated film that has been remade numerous times into life movies over the years. Lucy advises that Charlie Brown take the reins as director of the school Christmas pageant when he becomes saddened by the commercialism of Christmas he observes around him. 7. How the Grinch stole Christmas
A cranky hermit plans to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville in a classic film. The Grinch is enraged at the idea of the surrounding hamlet enjoying itself while celebrating Christmas since he is bitter and cruel. So he enters the village dressed as Santa Claus and steals all the Christmas-related items. All these while his dog is dressed as a reindeer.
8. Miracle on 34th street
An old guy going by the name of Kris Kringle stands in for an inebriated Santa Claus in Macy’s annual Thanksgiving Day parade in this vintage holiday favorite. It has been remade numerous times over the years. Kringle turns out to be such a success that he soon makes frequent appearances at the chain’s flagship location in midtown Manhattan. This results in a legal proceeding to determine his legitimacy and mental state.
9. Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer
At the North Pole, a young reindeer named Rudolph resides. It is anticipated that Rudolph will someday join his father in the ranks of Santa’s reindeer. Rudolph returns to the North Pole on Christmas Eve with the intention of trying to convince Santa to help with the toys. His crimson nose, however, is a flaw that makes him unpopular and causes him to be shunned. But there is fog covering Santa’s sleigh. Santa, however, has an excellent idea after inspecting Rudolph.
