Outstanding Movie Performances
Oppenheimer stole the spotlight by winning the best ensemble award, outshining competitors like Barbie and Killers of the Flower Moon.
Cillian Murphy, known for his leading role, won over the audience and his peers, defeating Paul Giamatti and Jeffrey Wright. He expressed his gratitude by saying, “This is extremely, extremely special to me because it comes from you guys,” during his speech in Los Angeles.
Robert Downey Jr. also won big for his supporting role as Lewis Strauss in Oppenheimer, marking another SAG award to his name since his win for Ally McBeal in 2001.
Lily Gladstone took the award for female actor in a leading role for her performance in Killers of the Flower Moon, triumphing over Emma Stone and Margot Robbie. She highlighted the importance of empathy, especially reflecting on the challenges of the past year, including the actors’ strike.
Da’Vine Joy Randolph was named best female actor in a supporting role for The Holdovers. She praised the film’s director, Alexander Payne, and encouraged aspiring actors with words of hope: “Your life can change in a day…keep going.”

Pedro Pascal from The Last of Us clinched the award for male actor in a drama series, unexpectedly beating stars from Succession. His win was a light-hearted moment as he joked about not expecting to win.
Elizabeth Debicki won female actor in a drama series for The Crown, while Succession claimed the drama ensemble award, celebrated by Alan Ruck as a fitting farewell.
Special Recognition
The evening also paid tribute to Barbra Streisand with the life achievement award. Presented by Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper, Streisand shared her journey and vision for a world free from prejudice, celebrating her 60-year membership in the union and her lifelong learning through acting.
